1. Connecting and OBS Installation
Before you start drawing, you need to add the widget to your broadcasting software:
1) Log in to the site using your Twitch account.
2) Navigate to the Draw Chat widget detail page and click the Settings button.
3) Copy your unique Widget Custom URL located at the top of the page.
4) Open OBS (or your preferred streaming software) and add a new Browser Source.
5) Paste the URL and set the dimensions strictly to Width: 1150 and Height: 600.
2. Customizing Your Settings
On your control panel, you can tailor the game to fit your stream's vibe:
Connection & Commands: Set the Reward Points viewers earn for guessing correctly and choose a Draw Duration (30, 60, 120, or 180 seconds).
Access Restrictions: Want to make it an exclusive perk? Toggle Only Subscribers to limit who can play, or allow Moderators to manage the game.
Bot Messages Customization: Personalize the messages your bot sends to the Twitch chat when a game starts, when a viewer guesses correctly, or if a game is canceled. You can easily toggle these automated messages on or off.
3. How to Play (Streamer Control Center)
Once everything is set up, it's time to play!
1) Set the Word: Under the Sketchcast Control Center, type your chosen secret word into the input box and hit Start Game.
2) Start Drawing: The canvas will unlock. You have access to a variety of drawing tools including a pen, eraser, flood fill, and shapes (rectangle, circle, triangle). You can also change your brush size and pick custom colors.
3) Give Hints: If your chat is struggling, use the Update Hints button on the right side of the panel to reveal random letters of the secret word to your viewers.
4) Winning & Resetting: The game automatically detects when a viewer types the exact word in your Twitch chat, awards them points, displays their name on the OBS overlay, and updates the leaderboard. You can also manually cancel or clear the board using the quick-action icons on the canvas.
